The conference was attended by scholars from the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art and their colleagues from the Netherlands. Among the papers presented for discussion were presentations devoted to research on the epics “Manas” and “Zangar”, the literary heritage of Abay Kunanbayev and Mukhtar Auezov, the ancient Turkic lexicographical treatise “Divan Lugat al-Turk” by Mahmud al-Kashgari, and “Divan-i Hikmat” by Khoja Ahmed Yassawi.

The conference received extensive coverage in the Kazakhstan media.
